well if i can get my massive bulk in one and do ok i'm sure you can do ok
and i didn't blow the engine
but the tyres gave a sigh of relief when i got off of it,

but beware i nearly trashed my company van when i came to the first roundabout at the A3, did an hour carting and felt like 3 hours in the gym and was sore for days

it was an outdoor one quite small but ok
"surbiton raceway" i think
had trouble getting a racesuit to fit ( i dunno why), and got my head in an xl helmet but with plenty of vaseline

kart tracks indoor at aldershot and crawley, outdoor at sand down park, think theres one in/near croyden aswell. they must be the most local/central ones for our lot, but all would be welcome, if people are serious i can start another thread on the idea...

guessing at the moment would be somewhere in the region of £40-60 for a practise/qualify and race session total track time maybe 45-60 mins. The more interested we could prob get a better price for a group booking.

Ned.

weather could be going downhill for paintballing and the daylight hours are fast getting shorter and from experience it always works out much more expensive than you think as when you start firing the things they eat ammo. good suggestion though.

you just need to find a place that doesnt mid you bringing your own paintballs along ( so long as they are the same size )

you can buy a box of 2000 for £23 online and thats more then ive used in a whole day before now ....

hmmm i can look at it for local places and get some rough ideas also delta force has a great place in surrey and i can get good delta force deals (16 ppl went with 1000 paintballs each for £240 sounds alot but when you think its £15 each for a wole day and lunch included)...... depends what people wanna do karting is a good idea just throwing in another option lol

There's karting at Brookwood nr. Woking which would be a little more central for everyone possibly.

Paintball's probably the best thing I've ever done but I've not been for years after they closed my favourite ever paintball place at Greenham Common Newbury!

As for Xmas- just tell me where and when, I don't mind! It's the company that counts!

Cheers,
James

... oh God, is it really time to think about Christmas... I was sure someone had said that it was cancelled this year!

I went to the aldershot track a few years back (just worked it out, it was about 6 years ago!), its on military grounds, so you have to sign your car in. the track was good, but from the website it looks like they've changed the layout. have you been there lately Andy?

Ned.

Curry!!!!

The Rose Valley in Guildford is brilliant!

But then everyone's local is the best isn't it?!!!

I can't find a website with menu etc. but I reckon you'd get curry, rice, naan and a side dish for around £10-12.
I sure we can get a group deal or something if we get an idea of numbers soon.

I can try and scan a menu in and post it if it'll help.

I'm on pretty friendly terms with the manager too (he phoned me to say Happy Birthday! ) which might be worth something (free papadums at least! ).

Big car park a couple of doors down too.

Ned,
Any views on the Rose Valley?

Cheers,
James

That's a point, Jasper's had take-away from there.

You think it was good enough for us all to go there Jasper? Or is it just that I'm addicted to the place?

Ned,
It's in Chertsey Street. Down the road from Buck and Ryan (tool shop) and RSVP (pretentious, expensive bar!). Couple of door up from Guildford Comic Shop!
Worth a test run I'd say!

My girlfriend and I eat there atleast once a month.... we have the same thing every time too!

Cheers,
James

P.S. If you tell me when and how many then I'm more than happy to book it etc.
