Goodwood Festival of speed
Anyone planning on going to the Goodwood festival 3-5 july. I usually go and camp at a nice site at chichester. Could take the cars to the coast one
evening for a ride out whilst there weather permitting. Any of you Hull area guys interested Si, Mark, Dave etc...

Where about is the camp site ? me and my neighbour went last year but only for the day but we're going to head down for the weekend this year
but not too sure what campsites are the best.
Also looking to buy a BEC this year so would be good to meet some of you guys and hopefully bag a few cheeky passenger rides

There is also a nice little layby/car park type place just down one of the roads that I may or may not have stopped in on year. Nice and quiet, just
me and a mate sat round a camp fire!
Found it! 'Twas
here. Nice little place to camp, should you be not 100% fussed about camping near what is technically a car park for forest walks,
although it does have nice views over the valley, with a windmill. Does mean there's loads of fire wood too!

i use Lakeside Holiday Village, vinnetrow road, chichester not far from the motorway. good facilities, electric if needed, decent showers etc. If
interested camping on this site will usually need booking early feb time. We usually travel thurs spend friday on foot looking round as it is the
quietest day and no timed hill climbs. Then watch more hill climbs on saturday as they are faster. usually travel home sunday as is stupidly busy at
the festival. I have 3 people at the moment hopefully 6. I intend to take my Tiger. Plenty of room on the site too for a gathering of cars get
together and photos

I´m going with my brother. The problem is to find any B&B a.t.m
Don´t wanna camp as a tent weighs to much for the flight over
Any suggestions on B&B´s

find a tesco extra when you land, buy all your camping gear for cheap, use it and donate it to a tramp or something before you leave

I shall be at goodwood for the friday. Am stopping in a B&B - the same one as last year - it's fully booked so wont suggest trying to get
in.
Will dash down after work thursday night, go to goodwood friday followed by a few beers and a more leisurly trip back on sat.
May go in the striker but probably mates focus as I won't rely on the weather for three days!

*arghhh* crisis
Not a room in sight (affordable anyway)
Only room we have found is a bit off from Chichester and they want £600 for 4 nights
Then there is the taxi from the B&B to GFoS, about £30/day
