Croft racing. With pics & video
My lad Pete will be racing his Civic in the Northern sports and Saloon car championship at Croft this weekend. He's out both days. (25th &
26th Jul)

was good, damp in the morning but dried up in the afternoon untill the last half hour. had a few to many "moments" in the morning
especially after someone spilled something round most of the track
it killed my front left wheel bearing so i've just picked up a new pair to fit tomorrow

Not a bad day's racing yesterday. Once again all the classes were combined, Pete quallified 11th overall and 2nd in class D.
The first few laps were very tight, he lost a couple of positions in the first couple of corners, then managed to claw them back.
I've fitted a rear view mirror for the on board camera, which looks like it needs a tweek. Will try to remember to adjust it before his
race later today. It's looking like it's going to be a wet one.

Another good result today. 2nd in class again, but a much better race. He's really getting the hang of the brakes now.
He flew past the white / blue Fiesta when he missed a gear. (Nearly rear ended him..)
And the yellow Rover he got past on the last lap was in class C, so there were no more points to be gained, it was purely racing.  Of
course if it all ended up in the gravel it'd be the daftest moove ever made!
