I'm up for Newlands assuming that the weather isn't actually wet, but I have been past
Clark's Cafe in Leatherhead a few times and it looks OK from the outside. The
write-up seems to say it is OK, though a fry-up is not as cheap as a Newlands bacon roll...
There's a sort of long layby outside - not sure how many cars it would hold.
Clark's Cafe
1 Sunmead Parade
Guildford Rd, Fetcham, Leatherhead, KT22 9AL

(map linky)
Anyway, that's my offering.

I prefer bacon
(was it recommended by that well-known Windsor resident, GeoffT?)

Not guilty guv'nor.
Can't comment on the place as I've never eaten there, but have driven down the lane to it - IIRC it has a decent size carpark. I think
it's opening times are a bit variable though, so may be worth checking it's open Sunday mornings, if I happen to be going past I'll
drop in and check.
Hopefully the weather will be decent and we can meet at Newlands....

Weather not looking too bad for the middle part of the day - think I'll have a drive down to Newlands if it looks ok in the morning. See you
there....?

Ok, 11 it is.
Sounds very civilised to me - a Newlands bacon roll and a lay in, what more could you ask for.....
