In the Land of the Undead pensioner.

No, not many, if at all. The Westfield Club have a not-too-active thing down here. I tend to go up to the Bristol area, lots happening there......

A few Sevens can be seen at St Eval (Newquay) sprinting in the summer, 4-5 Sundays.

will be joining newquay motor club in the new year to do some climbs and sprints...just seems a shame as there are so many good roads to drive with great potential for meets and days out....

has anyone thought of getting a club going down here?

Roads are clogged with pensioners most days around the year, predominantly daylight hours only though. Then the tourists come down (though this summer was exceptionally quiet). The constant rain isn't conducive to getting out on the roads either, which are covered in mud, usually animal slurry too.
Retired Brummies don't like noise, motorcycles, kit cars or life in general, so it's getting harder to actually 'do' things.

Newquay is a good club, St Eval is a tad rough, but good fun, good VFM too:

Mamhead is a very short hill, Werrington is a bit longer.... Castle's short.

I'm in Launceston.
