WLM tomorrow?
Think the weather is looking OK for tomorrow
Is there a WLM meet on tomorrow?
(think there was one last weekend that I missed?)
Any plans?

Rob

Rob,
Conrod has got something set up for this location tomorrow. Not sure if you want to drive that far,
but I'm sure he'll be along soon to post some details...

I love the new location if it comes about, even if i'm busy tomorrow. Mind it's still over 60 miles away.
BUT, don't you think that the fishermen will get slightly hacked off at a load of sevens rumbling into the site? Mind just looked up the
postcode and it's nearly under Heathrows flight path.

Never bored with newlands me.
I might visit the royal berkshire in the warmer months for some angling with my son.
I'll have a look out of the window in the morning.

I better just mention for those who hang a bit low - there's a couple of rather mean speed bumps on the lane down to the cafe....

that was the reason for making a low profile reccy first, lull them into a false sense of security first

So, do we have consensus yet, as to what is happening?

Decided to have a lay in and go for a local bimble to build confidence that the car would actually make it there and back for next time

May be ok for an odd small meet during the summer months (unheated cafe was a mite fresh...!), but I don't think we'd be too welcome in
any sort of numbers.
The site's obviously all about fishing, so I suppose you can't blame them...

Just come back from a chilly local bimble with Smudge off here
Just got a cheap little spy cam so mucked about with it strapped to the roll bar (just uploading to youtube as I type)
Hopefully will have a bigger card for it by next week and would be up for a longer run out assuming the weather is OK
Newlands is a good venue as theres other interesting stuff turns up
I guess the 'Fishy gaff' would have a less interesting car park

Agree with Geoff - a bit rustic and deffo not for cold weather. Didn't realise how cold I'd got (despite the thermals) until I was on the
way back.
Also think the guys dangling their worms in the water might not be too pleased if we turned up en masse.
Must be somewhere else that's open early'ish, warm & closer than Newlands?
Cheers, Pewe
PS robocog - you really need to get that chassis flex sorted out!

ROFL @ the chassis flex
Hopefully it will stop doing that when I solidly mount the camera...assuming it is that and not really the chassis doing that!
Good optical illusion though
Hoping that a faster card will make it less "stopframe like" as well
Its only a cheapo so not holding out much hope
What about the model car racing place that was mentioned a few years ago?
(I think there was mention of a heated sit down cafe at that place?)

It seems to do it even whent he car's stationary so I don't think it's the chassis flexing!
