stoooooopid insooooorance question
ok, got the renewal for my tinny top - Bell.
called more than and they do it for £ 4 less plus I get £ 20 in M&S vouchers.
all seems like for like except excess is £ 350 instead of 250 (Bell)
so worth the swap?
worth ringing Bell to match?

i would say no, because its £100 more expensive for you if you DO crash and make a claim.
but only £24 cheaper if you don't...
is £24 worth the hassle of changing? all the proof of no claimes sent between the 2? i wouldn't personally
you could ask bell if they'd match, they can only say no.
do you speak polish?
but remember, with the excess being different its not REALLY a like for like policy.
i'd stick with what you've got

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Why not ring Bell and tell them you want to increase your excess by £100 and see how much their's comes down...

go MORE TH>N
make sure bell isnt doing you a ten month policy. Bell are good though as backed by admiral - see what their multicar policy can do for you too.
your friend who has recommended you will also get some vouchers I think
you also get a personal customer manager so UK only call centers and one phone number straight to your PCM
throw in lifetime guarantee on repairs and courtesy car as standard, maximum no claims bonus protection and anything else I have forgotten lol
I run the motor account for MORE TH>N

Some one at work said you have to watchout for the multicar policy as you only earn one no claims as far as other insurers are concerned so if you
have it 3 years you loose the old one on the second and beyond cars. I don't have any personal experience with them though.
Just don't go through Aviva, they are the worst people I've ever had to deal with.

I can tell you exactly what the mainstream insurance companies do for me.
me: Can you insure my landrover.
them: is it a range roever?
me: no, it is an exmilitary lightwieght
them: is that a defender
me: no
them: is it a freelander?
no:
them: no, we can't do that.
then ....
me: Can you insure my kit car?
them: is it a ford?
me: no, it is a kit car, fromula 27
them: is that a fiesta?
me: no
them: is it a nova?
no:
them: no, we can't do that.

Whuuut?
So if you like Bauhaus you'd rather be kicked in the eye than save £11?
