Cheap day of motorsport - AutoSolo, Aldershot, 4th July - Open to all

Anyone fancy a day of fun grass roots motorsport?
AutoSolo is a great way to test you and your cars ability at close car control.
Farnborough district Motor Club are running a 'solo on Sunday 4th July and would like to invite anyone to come along.
For those of you who dont know about autosolos then take a look here:
http://fdmc.org.uk/autosolos.php

These events are a cross between Autotest and Sprints/Hillclimbs, but are for strictly road legal cars and no special equipment or licenses are needed.

The cost is only £35 entry. Usually you have to be a member of the motorclub or one of the invited organisitions, however as part of a new wave of ideas to attract new competitors we are offering a single days membership for £5, which means apart from fuel, and a bit of tyre wear, it will only cost you £40.
Space is limited to about 55 entrants and we usually have a large responce so get your entry in quick!
To enter please click the link here http://fdmc.org.uk/news.php and submit the entry form and you can also pay by paypal, please download the regs for more info.
If you need any more info please PM me.

Cheers Dave.

Tempting, but timing poor for me!
These are FANTASTIC events. More fun than trackdays IMO, cheaper and properly competitive. The bit about tyre wear should be noted, they can be rather heavy on the tyres (if you are trying hard enough )
But do try it out....

If I had the 205 on the road i'd be there in a shot, I'd love to have a go at an autosolo. I need to renew my FMDC membership anyway.

Anyone you know who could share a car with? Double driving is an option and with the £5 one event membership the other driver doesnt have to commit to a full years membership.
