Track days for NON IVA cars to test?

i hear people hire tracks on occasion where you can take your car without IVA as long as road worthy.

im close to getting my car on the road and want to know if any are running to test my car.

we have alot of unused runways in lincolnshire i can use but its not the same as a track day.

any one running any?

I don't think you need an IVA, or anything for a trackday, so long as the scroutineers are happy, then that's fine.
I know of a few people who built "trackday only" cars, that have never seen an IVA, MOT, or have ever been registered.

I took mine to a trackday about 3 months before SVA. It wasn't finished, no indicators or front lights (on but not wired)

No problems, had a great day, sorted out jetting and overheating (plumbing) issues.

Go for it!

as long as your car is built soundly and safe you are o.k.
you will need seat belts in good order, no body panels that might come off, no oil or water leaks.
my PUG 205 was a racer with cage and slicks and was fine for track days. dont need lights, indicators etc
