Where to go to watch a track day?
Live in Maidstone and thought it might make an interesting and low cost day out to go along to a track day and just watch.
Firstly is it worth going to just watch or is everything totally geared up towards those actually running a car?
Secondly are there any coming up at either Brands or possibly Lydden?
John.

Look out for trackdays at Lydden. It's only down the road to you and the spectating is great. There's always Brands Hatch as well.

Another vote for Lydden - you can see the entire circuit from the vantage points near the pit area, probably the best viewing circuit in the country.
Good fun to drive around in a seven too.....

And this is one of the better trackday lists to check what's coming up...

John
At least 10 of us from www.southernkitcars.com are doing a trackday at Lydden on the 4th September. I'm in Maidstone too - so drop me a U2U.

Doing my third track day ( ish ) at Brands on Tuesday afternoon ( novice ).
There is no charge to come along and watch.
The other two there at start of year were well organised.
I should be there by about 10.30 ish if you want to have a look.
It obviously better is you can have people with you who you know or have the confidence to go and have a chat to others who are by and large nice to
chat to.
If all goes well ( ie better than last 2 times ) and you can spare a tenner come out as a passenger for a few laps.
