Love the crowd safety measures in that picture (as in none whatsoever).

Yep, I'm planning to be along for that.
Can remember (just) when New Years day was a write-off for me. I suppose getting old and boring has some compensations...

Hmm....weather looking a bit 'iffy' for tomorrow, guess I'll take a look at things in the morning, aiming to be there around
11am.
Sunday's looking better though, maybe we could settle for a Newlands if tomorrow doesn't work out..?

I agree Geoff, it will be a case of looking out of the window in the morning but i'm thinking sunday may be the best option.

Yes, if the weather's not great I will probably give Brooklands a miss - it would be difficult to match the bright sun we had last time!
I am up for a Newlands Sunday bacon and egg bap if the weather's better then.

Ok, sounds like there's a distinct preference for the sunshine on Sunday - shall we save Brooklands for another year and settle for Newlands..?

Looking good here this am, no rain forcast till this afternoon. Rob's obvoiusly keen to go so I'm up for it, maybe an early exit is the
best bet if you want to stay dry.
The '7' is still garaged at Windsor at the mo, so will need to go over there first - means I won't get to Brooklands till 11ish,
hopefully they'll park us up in the usual spot. See you there later guys?

I wandered over to the aircraft display after you left - didn't realise you could amble around inside them, ended up sitting in the co-pilots
seat of a VC10 being given a rundown of all the controls. Still a 'live' aircraft too, everything switched on and working....
