Banger rallies
I would like to take part in a banger type rally this year, hopefull two/three day long max. I don't mind whether it is on the continent or
here. Any ideas or recommendations

Me and 2 friends were thinking of doing our own, same principle though, buy a car for under £300 and take it to some destination in europe and back
Maybe we could get a whole bunch of us together....

A mate & me did this in 2009:

With nothing to compare to I dont know what other ones are like but we found this fairly well organised.
We did think thought that shorter distances would have been better, doing 300-500 miles a day meant using the toll roads a bit which was both boring
& expensive plus having to keep pushing on instead fo relaxing took some fun out of it.
We'd do another though, was good fun & met some great folk. It doesnt make for a cheap holiday though, worked out more expensive than a week
renting an apartment with private pool in Cyprus!
We've still got the car, did the PPC mag £999 challenge with it in September & we're thinking of going to the Nurburgring this year.
