ARP Bolts
Hi All,
Just got some ARP con rod bolts for the Duratec engine, can anyone tell me what type and size socket I need to tighten them up, as I don't
recognise the pattern.
Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I thought all arp ones are 12 point and need a 12 point socket as found in most socket sets UNLESS you only have 6 sided sockets

My zetec arp bolts are 12 point which is just a normal 12 point bi hex socket not a 6 sided hex socket. IIRC they are 10mm?

They should be 12point and take a 1/2" or metric 13mm socket
