stuck diff bolt

Trying to get the bolts out that hold the tab for the castlelated retaining ring holding in the driveshaft oil seals!
I went out and bought a set of sealy TRX RIBE STAR bits thinking they would be useful and do the job properly.
Bloody things are stuck fast - tried gentle tapping to free and then the bits just took the edges off the bolts.
Tried plenty WD and resorted to trying to tap round with a chisel.
Don't want to hit too hard in case I crack the casing.

Any advice on how to proceed appreciated please.

Might be worth trying a set of Irvine extractors or weld a nut onto the head of the bolt , the heat and being able to apply more torque should shift them . Obviously you will have to replace them .

Thanks guys at least I know its not just me then. I thought buying the right bit would help but they are in well tight and heads are gone with age.
I'll see if they have extractors at work but I think the welded nut is a good idea and will be needed.

Thanks for your help.

if they have been locktited in then gentle heat may be enough, followed by hammering the bit into the head of the bolt this seats the bit and hopefully the shock will help loosen the bolt, failing this try the above suggestions

Last time I changed the diff to half shaft seals I didn't undo anything. Just levered the old seal out and tapped in the new one.
