im looking for a tube notcher either a manufactured or home made would do must be able to deal with up to 2" tube anyone got 1 for sale or swap check out my for sale ad

Can't help with the Tube Notcher I'm sorry, however, I would suggest that you "Edit your Profile" and enter your address, so that it shows on your posts (I should have Middlewich under my name for example).

That way if someone in your area has one, they might be more inclined to sell it if they don't have to post it, or alternately lend it out.

I sold one last year to a forum member, and whilst I don't know them like a friend, he was a super guy and the sort of person to help out someone local to him if he could...

Have a look at Harbor Freight Tools in the States. They do one cheap!!

You have to get different hole saws for each tube size.

I have used one. You might have to pack it to centalise it, see how to do that on You Tube.

im actually watching one of the eastwood ones on ebay just now thxs.is it ok used in a vice with an air or electric drill?

I had mine bolted down onto my pillar drill plate, worked brilliantly, allowed me to notch a rollbar and make a chassis.

You want to cut anything bigger than 20mm slow if possible, ideal on a pillar drill with belts. Make sure you use lots of cutting fluid on Stainless.
