reverse switch type 9 electrical 2 pin plug

hello
would anyone know where i might get the electrical term to fit a 2 prong reverse switch

Scrapyard usually.

Failing that I reckon some 5mm or so bullet connectors, or just solder and heatshrink should do the job well enough.

mine are solder on, and then two short lengths with spade connectors on, that means that the wiring is easy to remove at a remote location.

I've done the same as above, makes for easy access should you need it.

If you do go down the scrappy route I am pretty sure the same connector was used on same early MK3 escorts (the ones with the squarer lights). HTink that is what mine came off.

Probably used on other fords gearboxes around that time too, if there are any about still!!
