woodbridge track day 7th july

Had a great day at woodbridge on sat met some of you guys on the site and was some great track action

Weather was awesome dry and sunny all day very unexpected,

The striker was great performed really well quite surprised how good it was and still more to come,

glad i went down to 13" wheels turn in was very sharp,

My brothers caterham ran really well just a small miss fire at ther end of the day but he was happy,

my camera was not working on the day so need a new one i think so if any of you have any track action who was there yest please share,

a pic of the day for you of the two cars,

hope to get back on track asap now as the striker is a great car cannot recommend it enough very good handling and will need to improve my driving to get the best from it, and slicks for the next outing,
cheers all i hope someone has some vid of the day??

being honest i thought the striker was great car,

mnr i also liked and that became a predicatable car, the striker i think has the edge especially on turn in its much sharper and i could be quite agressive with it and get away with it,

perhaps becuase its car engine and can use the gears to help ballancve the car?

it was the best and most confident i have felt in a car so that says alot, weather its quicker is debatable, as bike engine cars on track yest where def quicker out the corners,

the caterham my brother drove was stuggling a little to get to grips with it but getting better towards the day, but the caterham has a stiff set up and its a very bumpy track so may be the reason?

thanks and hope you sell the mnr or get what you are looking for,

for my money the stirker is amazing value and out performed some good cars yesturday,

thanks shame i dont have video

As above, stop farting about at airfields and do some proper tracks

don't think you can go wrong with the gopro.

here's my vids from croft with one
http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/forum/13/viewthread.php?tid=172283

i think the shake and bad sound is down to vibration through the mount i was using, it didn't shake and sound was much better on my oulton vids using a mount that wasn't as solidly fixed.

also now worked out i should be using a different resolution so it is in widescreen
