A big congrats to Phelpsa

Hi All

I just wanted to say a big congratulations to Adam Phelps on his fantastic FTD at Llys y Fran Hillclimb today!

Adam was pretty spectacular and beat quite a few local heroes!

Well done - nice speech too!

Wyn

Even though I only live 15 mins away, I just couldn't make it today. Well done Adam.
Details please, was it in the 7?
EDIT
Guessing with an FTD it wasn't the 7

Nice one A, Pike's Peak next

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Thanks Wyn! I recognised you but only realised who it was afterwards.

It was a lovely day for a hillclimb, weather was excellent and I managed to keep it reasonably neat and tidy. My pb from last year was in the 49s, so with the new engine and tyres I was hoping for a 46. On my first timed run I managed 45.48 which meant I had the 15 points for the championship record in the bag, so I was a bit more relaxed for the 2nd one. I concentrated on my braking and trying to get the last couple of corners to flow rather than absolute corner speed and it worked; 44.83! The hill class record is 44.61 in a Caterham R500 I believe so I'll be back next year with that in mind

Thanks everyone!

Unfortunately not. The camera hasn't worked this season for some reason, doesn't like the new solid mount engine cradle.

Well my dad got a couple of photos of questionable quality!

I thought this one of my sister on her first hillclimb was a bit better!

Enjoy
