Audi S3 for me from that list.
The ford willl handle and ride better but everytime you get in it you'll remember you're driving a ford.
TT are girls cars and I think have actually not dated that well.
Clio lots of fun but are you a wannabe Chav?

Really has to depend what you intend to do with it...
I suspect the most connected fun car out of the list would be the Clio...
And who cares if its viewed as a young persons car... if you want one, buy one...

I've just bought a new car - a Skoda Octavia VRS TDi estate - cracking car - 170 bhp, 45 mpg round town, and bags of room (not that this really
helps you, but I'd just thought I'd share).
I've had 6 Audis - beware of the 'Multitronic' gearbox - mine packed up twice in 4 months - £2000 repair followed by a £500 repair.
My local audi VW specialist says "problems with the Multitronic gearbox are very common".
Also heard that the DSG gearbox (common on A3s ) is also prone to the electronic ecu controller packing up - that's also £2000 replacement, too.
Stick to a manual Audi, and you can't go wrong (but get an S4)!
Luego Locost C20XE.
Build start: October 6th 2008.
IVA passed Jan 28th 2011.
First drive Feb 10th 2011.
First show: Stoneleigh 1st/2nd May 2011.
'Used up' first engine may 3rd 2011!
Back on the road with 2nd engine may 24th
First PASA mad drive 26/7/11
Sold to Mike in Methyr Tydvil 19/03/14

My wife and I wanted a nice fun little car @ half your budget, we went for the 197 and I love it, it's fast enough and handles like a dream, for
your price range you will get the 200 and a nice one at that.
Forget the chav comment that's not going to happen at your price range.

Focust ST is a great car, and is easy to tune. Below is my 280 bhp car, which I owned for a couple of years. Try www.pumabuild.co.uk if you want to
modify it. The only issue is MPG of around 22 or 8 on track

Ok, well you will get a really nice S3 for that (as I’m sure your aware), solid build quality and strong engines.. plus with a simple rolling road
remap you will be looking at over 300 hp... (fun!) As others have said get a manual one though..
I doubt you will get a nicely speced TT for that money and you would want one of the quicker ones to make it worth while, the TT-RS is a beast but
pricey.
Test drove an ST-3 and it was a really nice car, felt solid but was plain... they do look nice in white though...
Clio, not my cup of tea but not driven or been in one... what megane could you get at that price?
I have a FN2 Civic Type R, don’t go down that route, its a good car and fun at full chat but its annoying (no torque)

Focust ST tuning: remap, decat, piper exhaust and radtec intercooler = 280 bhp. You need to do more to achieve 300 bhp.

yes your right easy to get 300bhp out off the s3 £250 to £500 will sort that out the tt only 200bhp std and the st-3 has only got 225 std and does
like to drink the fuel a lot am also thinking that the audi going to keep the value more than the st-3 if i u want to look at it that way
