I've just booked an evening track session at Brands on Tuesday 9th April, starts at 5ish and ends at 7.40pm. You get about 4 x 20 mins sessions
for £75 on the indie circuit. Anyone else interested?

I think you'd be suprised, my brothers MX5 seems very loud, but only gave 94db on static. When we were there in Dec there were full on track
cars (DB limits were the same as this road only day) and they were stupidly loud.
Remember db is a logarithmic scale, the diffrerence between 90 and 100dp is ALOT more than the difference between 80 and 90 for example)
Drive up there one day, if you speak nicely to them they will sound test you without taking part so you know for another time.

Hi Steve
I have a Decibel meter which I know is at least as accurate
As the IVA man's one as they both read the same.
Your welcome to come round & check it out.

Typical, weeks and weeks of no rain at all (maybe a little snow!!) - then the first day it rains it's my track evening at Brands Still at
least it's a tintop.
If you're not living life on the edge you're taking up too much room.
I was at Spa last weekend and it snowed non stop for almost 4 hrs, they put a grittier and a few safety vehicles round too "clear" the
track then sent us out too play,
What a hoot, absolutely freezing though. Luckily day 2 was dry and warmer

Hi Jasper - I'll be there... first time at brands since swapping my Stuart Taylor for the MX5.
Just looking out the window (about 20 mins from Brands Hatch) and it isn't actually raining at the moment, though it does look a bit damp on the
ground from rain earlier.
