South Birmingham Meeting - 1st November

It's on again. This time it will be at;

The Needlemakers Arms

Which can be found here.

The 'usual suspects' gather from about 8pm onwards but all are welcome.

its definately more of a mans game than most people will ever know

And the famous

' i used to like badminton, i played it at school' line gets right on my wick

many people think its a game where you hit it underarm and try to hit it as high as you can over the net! - watch it being played properly and your impression will change for sure.

its a shame more of the people who 'used to play at school' dont stick at it, it would make it a more popular sport, although besided footy its the most played sport in the UK .

its a shame the coaching infrastructure isnt quite there yet, or should i say we are not reaping its benefits just yet......................its a bit like tennis in that respect.

Doh, my mate is back from Japan on the 6th December and its my birthday on the 4th so i will be booking a couple of days off and will be well and truely on the razz,

maybe 3rd Jan then! :
