Stig outfit

Hello all
I am taking my stepdaughter to her prom next week in Kitcar and wife thought it may look good if I dressed as the stig.
Has anyone hired or bought one that they could recommend since the ones I seen on internet don't look the best.
If anyone has one that they would like to hire also, that would be good too.
Based in wigan, northwest but happy to pay postage and hire fee
Thanks

whilst not very professional looking, I knicked one of my son's painting suits and stuck my white lid on - people were completely fooled

They key is the Simpson Diamond back helmet with iridium visor, sadly its over £600, plus nigh on !100 for the visor.

yep, all about the helmet IMO.

plus you'd need to sit in the car and watch your daughter struggle to get out - the stig would never help a lady; just be confused as to why she wasn't wearing a race-suit.

That seems to be the problem. All hire shops I looked at seem to have rubbish plastic helmets. I have an old helmet which I may spray white and black out the visor. Won't be same but will be better than hire shops. Just need to sort a suit then.
Just would've been nice if someone else had hired one that was good and could recommend
Will keep looking.

Depending on how close the other look at you and know the stigs real hemet type you may get away with a white helmet and black visor.s

You should not reply to any questions asked. And completely ignore everyone. You could change the brake bias so theres zero rear braking and do one of those rolling burnouts.
