Dad wants his garage back!

Yesterday my Dad broke the news I've been dreading for ages now - he wants his garage back! He says I can use it for the summer but then I'll have to find somewhere else to keep my car or sell it

The most annoying thing is I want to start working on a new project this summer, and teach myself to weld, use fibreglass etc. Now I'm not sure how I'm going to manage it...

Hopefully I'll be able to persuade him to change his mind, maybe I'll offer to weld him a new set of garden furniture or something

It's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care...

Good luck Fletch.

Unlucky matey. Could you not rent a garage on a block to keep your car in? then build a shed to make stuff in?

That happened to me, i took the car to uni to work on, and he restored the garage to how it was with sofas and the pool table.

Luckily the garage doesnt get used too much in the winter so i moved all the sofas and the car just about fits it. there is a wooden board over the pool table at the moment which is my work bench. Will be building a new garage under the barn this summer when the car is finished ready for the next project.
