Elvington 22nd October 2005

Good fun if very wet... hardly stopped p1ss1ng it down all day! Had a good time on't track (courtesy Mad Dave!) video being compiled tomorrow should be on't website soon Phil did a few laps but it was so slippy and dirty is was a waste of time. It was also £5 entry per car as rumoured beforehand - looks like this entry fee will stay in the future then as there was plenty of people.

Keep going to the website to se eif I've posted it tomorrow (Sunday) but it's my anniversary so don't expect it too quick! No incar footage either due to the rain!

Graham,

IMO the entrance fee is long overdue. How many other motorsport events can you spectate at free of charge? Considering its only a fiver per car, I think its quite reasonable. Even if the organisers provide only one extra portaloo for spectators they're looking at about £100 minimum hire. They need to recoup this somehow.

Besides, if you turn up in your indy, they'll ask you if you're just spectating or going on track. Just tell em you're going on track and in you go for free.

In fact, I reckon if you put lots of stickers on your tin-top, you could just tell em the same and get in FOC.

Phil
