How abouts a meeting at the old royal oak in hockley heath just off the M40 (First exit going south) one month. They have car meets the 1st tuesday in each month, when it gets dark this moves to Sunday afternoon.

There is one there this Sunday (6th) from 11 to 3. If the weather is right there is always a great selection of cars and bikes to suit all.

Hi Andy,

That sounds like a great idea. I've been meaning to get to one of those meetings for the last two years but never made it.

Will you be coming to The Peacock?

Edited to make sense

I should do really as its just down the road. Woud be nice to actually sit in a real car as I have not even done this let alone been driven in one !!! (Apart from me being sad sitting in my chassis of course)

Andy, if the weathers dry there should be at least two cars for you to take passenger rides in.

So the Hockley Heath meeting is this Sunday - the 6th. The day before our Locost meeting

I can make it - how about others? I'll email the group and suggest it.

Weather prevented me from attending the Hockley Heath classic car meeting.

It rained hard from about 11pm Saturday evening until 12:30pm on the Sunday afternoon

The Peacock meeting is still happening (at least I'll be there whatever the weather) and if the weather turns bad I'll bring the tintop.

Do you post warnings on here or do i need to Pm someone my email?

I'll blame that on poor short term memory rather than blind ignorance
