Holyday tips after Stoneleigh

I am coming to Stoneleigh with my wife and son of 6. The rest of the week we are having a little holiday in the UK.
Do you have any tips of places we have to visit (Castles, hills, campings)?
We have a caravan (yes I am sorry but it is a little one and the car can handle it......).

hi mate! how does the zx12 cope with a caravan?! joking Good holiday destinations would have to include cornwall, scotland and my favourite, the lake district. Places, york railway museum! Lots more obviously and those might be too far, but still good.

It's got to be the Yorkshire Dales.

Enjoy your stay.

yup was 10-15 years ago but national wailway museum at york is good as are the steam railways dotted about the country, the jorvik viking centre in york, london, stonehenge, the moors, peak/lake district. where are you plannng on staying (rough area) and how far are you willing to travel. this will determine a lot i would imagine. tourist information must have a website with area related sections/search i would hope.

Ned.

ps beaulei(sp?!) and goodwood if you're down on the south cost !!

Warwick castle is worth a visit as only down the road from Stoneleigh...

My Daughter has taken over production of the damn fine Triton race seats and her contact email is emmatrs@live.co.uk.

if you want to tour and see beautiful scenary then the west cost of scotland is stunning - it just a heck of a trek for you.

What sort of things do you want to do?
What do you like to do?
Are you here to see the country, get immersed in the culture?

Kenilworth Castle too.

Then, as Dave said, there's lots of stately homes and other attractions. Check out the National trust website and English Heritage also.

There's a Locost meeting on the Monday night in Leamington Spa (about 5 miles away).

See HERE

All are welcome and if the weathers good we'll probably have 4 or 5 finished cars.
