Damn, couldn't make it again!
Wednesday evenings are the only chance i get to work on the car at the moment, and i am away for the next 3 wednesdays so i couldn't not go to
the garage
Pint or car...pint or car..., car won!! Maybe if more of you took this approach there would have been more than 6 cars there!!
Cheers Austen

No I wasnt there but unfortunately also was not working on the car. I was at work and had hoped to finish a bit early to attend. Unfortunately my two
workmates on my shift were both off work, leaving me alone to keep the place going so i could not sneak out early.
I have made some good progress with the car however and took it for its first illegal trip up the road last week. Now just need 1 laser wheel and
wheelnuts and 4 tyres. At the moment I am just trimming the edges and doing the bits neccessary for SVA.
I am hoping to get it tested before the weather gets to bad but now expect I will be driving it during the winter.
Paul.

Oh Dave, can I have Lamb Never-In instead of a pie this month????

Thanks Dave i got a set of wheel nuts , now only need the matting. As for engine parts i am looking for a manifold for twin 40s and a 4 branch exhaust
manifold. I have decided that i will keep the crossflow in the car until it blows up and hopefully it will last all of next summer.

Paulf,
I'll bring your wheelnuts and rubber matting.
Do you want any crossflow bits?
I've got quite a lot of clutter that could either stay or go .
cheers
Dave

Hi Brooky
I think i spoke to you about a spare alternator casing for a fireblade engine the month before last, if you still have a spare and want to sell it
then i am still in need of one and will be there tonight.

Thanks Dave if you are going to bin the manifold then i will have it to mess around with , i was tryimg to bend one of my own but had limited success
so may be able to use it as a pattern or to cut apart.
Paul.

OK for matting then.
I have a pair of dcoe 40's (slightly scorched!) but NO spare manifold.
I do have a spare twin dcoe pipercross filter, though, ally back plate type.
I also have spare downdraft carbs and manifolds if you need.
I have a derelict 4-2-1 exhaust manifold - I'll put it in the car for you to see if you want, or I'll bin it.
(I made the one on the car now from an old escort manifold bought in cracked but otherwise fair condition. I chopped it up into elbows, swivelled and
re-welded them to the same length to make a side exit.)
