Event on 20, 21st Sept

If anyones at a loss what to do that weekend then there's a hillclimb/sprint meet at Thoresby Hall near Ollerton. This is not far off A1/A57 junction of A1.

IT's FREE.

Sunday usually has all sorts of machinery with lots of 7 types and also the Austin 7 owners club contest. These guys really try hard with these cars and are very entertaining on corners.
Many classic cars turn up to show off seperately from event.

Thoresby Hall is also a Hotel and has a nice bar/cafe. There is also a cafe and a few craft shops in grounds.

It's a good day out even for the other half to enjoy. It's easy to walk around and explore the Hall as well as some good viewing points.
Access to paddock area is allowed FREE as long as you are careful. The single seaters are there and you can walk up to cars and drivers no problem.

Thoresby Hall

Rob,
Thanks for the information. Went on Sunday. Had a brilliant day. Even the other half enjoyed it. Fortunately she didn't find anything to wear in the dress shop.

Glad you enjoyed it.

I was all set to go when a good friend of the wifes called and wanted our company as her dog was dying. We ended up spending the whole day at her house.
