Newlands Meet 01-06-08. Nr. Guildford Surrey
This weekend, Sunday morning, greasy burgers and dodgy tea!
9.30-12.00 be there or be lying in bed moaning, firmly believing you've got the worst hangover in the history of mankind.
Seeya!
Cheers,
James
And yes, I know it'll probably be the last one on the 1st of the month!

Newlands is tempting but the Goodwood Breakfast club sounds fun as well.
The kids would love the Supercars.
Can you just turn-up and walk around? Do you have to pay for entry and if so, how much is it?

The Brekkie Club has got soooo popular, that if you are arriving in a car of the theme, they encourage you to book it in........as has happened
before, it gets just too full of the months themed cars...
No entry fee.....it is totally free entry.......just turn up and enjoy
Just hope the weather is dry......

You couldn't pwn your way out of a wet paper bag, with "PWN ME!!" written on it, from the "pwned take-away" which originally contained one
portion of chicken tikka pwnsala and the obligatory free pwnpadom.

Sadly the chances of my car being back on the road for Sunday are about.....
nil!
No seats, half the interior out, not tested the new cooling system yet and no tax or insurance!!!
Oh, and no money to rectify those problems.... not a good sign really!
Cheers,
James

Nice to see some old and new faces there today. Pic of all the cars + the 1917 Detroit Henderson bike.
Some info about the Henderson here and a pic

Humbug,

Hey! It ran!
Well, guess I was indeed a bit inspired today!
After a few (short ) checks, I stuck the fuel pipe in a can and it actually fired up and ran!
Bearing in mind the reason for the off-roadness had been re-doing the cooling system with new rad, totally re-done plumbing and new fan (as opposed to
the old Micra crap and a maze of hoses).
Ran it for ages and whole system worked as designed (well, guessed ) so well chuffed.
If everyone nags Triton to hurry up with my seats I might actually be on the road again soon. Yay!
Next meet? maybe....
Cheers,
James

It does look like Johnny Vegas!
The R1ot belongs to the guy I bought my ST from as a rolling chassis... Sean something. The R1ot looks really good close up - very minimalist, does
the job. He even used the original bike handlebar controls on little stubby tubes behind the steering wheel.
