Just a thought - now that the weather resembles Summer, is it time for a North Essex/South Suffolk* get-together in the lofty heights of the mighty Essex Alps? (a.k.a. Mt Bures)

This is a nicy, tidy pub with a big car park, good beer and a decent reputation for food. The approach roads from almost every direction are well-suited to 7-style cars - reasonably fast and twisty - and reasonable access from Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

My car is running again, although I now need to tweak the tuning to cater for the different fuel pressure.... I hope to be there though!

The Friday weather forecast suggests that the weather will be grim on Sunday...

I suggest that everyone who's planning to go should have a look at this thread at around 10:00 on Sunday morning, to see if everyone else is planning to turn up!

The forecasts have been rubbish lately, but if it does look it's going to persist down then maybe we can postpone to the Sunday after (13th July).

well weather seems to be holding so i am going to go for it....

This will be the first run out >10miles since all my breakdown issues, HP fuel system has now been totally reworked and bonnet vents added... so fingers crossed!

If you see me parked at the side of the road looking p*ssed off then you know i haven't fixed the problem yet!

I went.

At one point there was:

An Avon
A Velocity
A Libra
and
A Noble M12 GTO3

It did rain slightly at about 12.30, but then I had to leave to watch the GP.....

well i made it there and back! just caught a little rain in the last mile home..

I had some trouble before setting off, an o ring had gone on one of my injectors and was peeing fuel out eveywhere, quick trip to halfords for a new o ring and I was away...

Car ran well all the way, put 58 miles on it today without real incident.... still don't trust it yet though! had a minor issue with the oil catch tank overflowing but nothing serious.
