Every time i go to log in it does work ?
I cant access my U2U can anyone help am i doing something wrong or is there a problem.
check the spelling and capitals on ur user name, some forums are case sensitive. then again, ur in now so maybe u2u chris to check it?
sometimes I have had this problem... problem only seems to occur when I've cleared the cache. I think it deletes the cookie required for auto-login. Chris knows better than I...
That's like me asking you why my car won't start. What car? What engine? What happens when you turn the key? Etc.
So... What steps do you go through to log in? What actually happens when you try? What system are you using (PC/Mac) and which browser?

Ok just when to write message and lost it as forgot to put username and password at top ! aghhhh !
So here we go again, I am using Win XP which i have only just changed so that might have an effect right ?
Zonealarm firewall but have tried without and no joy, privacy on IE set to medium.
I go to top right to log in and enter name and password screen flashes but doesn't say wrong username or password just goes back to normal
screen. I can post if i remember to put the usernae and password in!
if i click on the bit that says 'logged in as JoelP' then it goes to the front page. Are you sure you arent already in?!?
but it is annoying when you've written a long post and it gets lost cos ur not logged in!!!! gutting...
done it again dam !!!!!!
No im not logged in as i cant view the pics section and cant see my name at the top left .
Sounds like your system is refusing to accept the site's cookies. Make sure your privacy level is set to medium or below (tools -> internet
options -> privacy) and that zone alarm is not set to block cookies.
Whilst I'm here I'll have yet another rant about zone alarm. It does more harm than good so turn the damn thing off. If you're really
paranoid, and on some kind of broadband connection (no one is going to try and hack someone on dialup) get a hardware broadband router that performs
NAT onboard. You can get them for £30-40 and they will block all incomming traffic without messing up things like cookies that sites like this rely
on.
Chris
Yep your right works fine now.
Thanks
Strange though as i did try it without zonealarm and lowered the privacy setting in explorer.

The other thing with products like Zone Alarm is that the authors know you have paid money for it and if it sat there doing it's job you would
never know about it. Hence, they make it pop up all sorts of trivial messages about the odd ping packet or something just to make you feel good about
your purchase. The number of people I know who've bought them and told me "someone tried to hack into my computer 30 times last night"
just infuriates me. The no. 1 cause of people causing themselves problems is randomly opening attachments because "it came from my friend".
My mrs does this all the time, despite me telling her time and time again.
Rant over!
Chris
