Search facility for the photo archives?

Dear Chris / Fozzie,

What is the chance of adding the above to the locost builders site - or does it already exist and I just don't know how to use it?

it has been mentioned in the past.

If i remember correctly, the website was about to change and that's why it wasn't implemented?

if you want boobies, then you need to go elsewhere!!!


bear in mind that a lot of photos will be called whatever the camera uses for file name e.g. dsc001203 and not everyone puts in a descritpion nor can the site enforce the correct description to be entered hence I am not sure how useful the search would be.

It would be usefull as we wouldn't have to post all the time

Thank you for your inquiry.

To put a search facility for the present photo archive at this time, would be quite impossible to do I believe....

The photo archive, is individually managed by each one of you.

Although the upload 'names' are different, the descriptions are non-specific, so many photos would have the same name, that is, assuming that the 'description' has been entered at all!

Whether or not the facility could or would be an option when the new site arrives, at this point, I cannot honestly say.
