3 Cicks Back
Phil.J - 20/10/09 at 11:27 AM

I don't know if admin. can do anything about it, but it still takes 3 clicks on the back button to exit any topic on the forums, both on my office and home PCs.
This came up a few weeks back and it seemed to be affecting a number of people.

Same here, but not only on this site. Desk top and laptop at home and the desk top in the offfice.

Same here. Problems with Explorer, but no problems with Firefox.

I had issues with my work PC a couple of weeks ago. The IT boys deleted and re-created my profile and all seemed fine, except that I now have the 3-click syndrome

So I installed Firefox and all is well.

Wonder if it might be something to do with one of those 'background updates' that IE does?

Ben_Copeland - 20/10/09 at 04:12 PM

Nope, nothing here. 1 click

Breaker - 29/10/09 at 02:02 PM

Still clicking 3 times...

Benzine - 29/10/09 at 02:21 PM

I open everything I want to read in a new tab then close it when done with it, no need to use back

Alan B - 18/11/09 at 02:54 PM

yep....3 times here for me at work......not tried at home yet..

Fozzie - 18/11/09 at 04:22 PM

Guys, it isn't a site issue.......

Try a different browser, for example, FireFox.....even if it is just to see if it still happens....

The 'slowness' again is only evident at peak times (much like peak time road traffic)....the rest of the time it is super-fast.....
