Rich,
Any particular reason for you having 'knobhead' under your name?
Steve
He asked Chris for it ages ago
Ah that explains it! Obviously feeling more observant this evening.

I can't log in through the normal login. Have had to post here and log in at the same time. Windows XP with IE.
David
Just tried to log out (just for the hell of it and in the interest of pioneering research
Got this:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This web page has a redirect loop.
The web page at http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/misc.php has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing
third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Win7 IE9
Safari can’t open the page.
Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/misc.php”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open
another page which then is redirected to open the original page.
thats when I logout
I followed Dave's advice and posted to log in as I can't log in normally or do a search.
(Windows XP and IE 7)
Cheers

Hi All
I'm afraid I can't replicate this issue.
Works fine on my 'main' PC which is IE8 on Win7 64bit
Also works on my test PC which has IE7, Firefox 3.6.8 and Chrome on it.
Also works fine on my iPad and Safari.
Can people please post the browser and OS they're using and whether the problem occurs or not. There's obviously something wrong somewhere
with some specific combination of browser and OS. Just need to track down what this combination is so I can replicate it and try to debug the
problem.
Cheers, Chris
My current laptop is running xp with internet explorer 7 which i leave logged into this site all the time & am typing on now, i just tried to log
on with the garage computer and it just wont have it, thats also running xp & internet explorer 7
Hope this helps
Just attempted a 'logout'
In IE9 I got .....
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
-----------------------------------------------------------------
In Chrome I got ....
-----------------------------------------------------------------
This web page has a redirect loop
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Both using Win7 x64
*edit*
I then couldn't log in again and had to sneak in by editing this post!
Ok, and the 'issue' we're talking about is when you go to the login page it complains that the page has this redirect loop in it?

Same for me.
Running XP Sp3 IE8.
Should now be fixed. Complete balls-up on my part when adding some new search code last night! Whoops!!
Thanks to RichardK for use of his PC (via remote support) which got me onto the right line of investigation.
Cheers, Chris
No problem, happy to help.
Cheers
