u2u email notfication

hi all, i used to get a email notfication telling me i have a new u2u but now i dont,i still get the about topics i have subscribed to.
I have looked and cant find anything in options can someone point me in the right direction pls,cheers lewis

Perhaps someone was posting a general message to say you had a U2U. Seen that often on here.

To be honest, im glad i dont get email notification, as i seem to get emails from EVERY other site i frequent

And 90% of the mail i do get, is shite!

This has now been implemented, along with a whole new way of delivering mail which (I hope!) should safeguard you all against spam attacks in the future.

It's also sending the mails from a remote server which isn't listed on any blacklists yet, so hopefully mails will stay out of the spam filters.

I'm doing some work on moving the other email functions (thread subscriptions, email messages, etc) over to the new system but at the moment it's u2u notifications only.

You mean I spent all that time making the code work, and sending nice HTML emails, and you want it turned off??
