Just changed my signature picture and can't find any guidance on recommended size, is this ok?

I think its the width not the height.
It would push the whole page across to the right, not leaving much space for the body of the posting to be displayed.

I was intending to leave it as a signature eg. At the bottom of posts as above, rather than mac an avatar on the left.
