One of my posts has been altered
rdodger - 26/4/13 at 07:31 PM

On a recent topic one of the posts I wrote has been altered. There was no edit with date notification after the post was altered.

How can this happen? I am 100% sure it wasn't done from my computer.

The post was altered to something I completely disagree with so I am not very happy about it. Has it ever happened to anyone else?

No chance of anyone using my computer or login.

Well Fozzie hasnt been online for a while. That only leaves ChrisW and i cant see why he would do it. Plus it would show as being editted and it only shows your edit.

Something similar has happen to me twice when commenting on a photo it logged it as someone else and not me. I even emailed Chris but never got a response.

Can you put it down to a simple typo ?

Ive accidentally missed the word 'Not' out of a post once. The post made sense but was the opposite of what i wanted to say.

Alcohol... ???

adithorp - 26/4/13 at 08:52 PM

I read it yesterday morning (8.15ish) and that's what it said then. It did cross my mind that it seemed unusual.

Hmmm... G+T's knowing him.

Unlikely he'd be pissed at 5 past 8 in the morning!

Would be interesting to have chris' opinion on it, as one would have to assume he's done it - but it isnt his style as he's not in the MK fanclub.

As an aside, isnt it the rear suspension on the old indy thats in question, not the front?

Buckfast anyone?!

scootz - 26/4/13 at 09:14 PM

Tastes great on cornflakes!

rdodger - 26/4/13 at 09:20 PM

I like a G&T for breakfast as much as the next man, but I do try and keep that for special occasions!

It's pretty clear that it has been changed as it doesn't make any sense. Nothing before that post mentions suspension geometry, good or otherwise.

It's bloody annoying that it's possible to do that kind of thing. Perhaps locost is turning into Wikipedia?

Now that sounds like it's begging for ice, a slice, and a wee umbrella in it!
