For anyone who has found using Mozilla & Firefox a bit iffy on this and some other sites the fix is quite easy. The problem is due Mozilla &
Firefox comming with IP version 6 enabled by default.
To disable type "about:config" in the address bar
When the config file appears scroll down to "network.dns.disableIPV6" and use the right mouse button to toggle this to "true"
then close the browser tab/window.
When Firefox/Mozilla restarts the problem should be gone.
For Linux users an additional way of solving IP6 related DNS problems is to use kedit or similar to add the following line to the /etc/modules.conf
configuration file (without the inverted commas)
"alias net-pf-10 off"

Hi BT - that's the best fix I've seen for a while...
I've been stalling on a few sites recently and thought it was a browser update requirement that never was.
Great bit of news! Thank you.
