The little orange 'unread' icons are not going away when I've read the item.

Way, way back the system flagged up the unread items - you either read them or ignored them, but next time you logged in they were all cleared.

Now the flag seems to be staying on.

Apart from that, it's a lot quicker!

nope im getting this as well, a post i havent read (flagged) i will look at then when i come back to the site later its flagged again and no new posts have been made in it. i did refresh the page to check if it was just casheing the pages but its not that.

Guys the unread notification doesn't work for threads, only for the main areas of the site (eg chassis, for sale etc)

When the new software version is finished it'll work for everything.
