i am planning to go to the detling show
can anyone tell me if its wort going there
what can i expect .

I have been a few times and it has been a bit variable. Usually quite a few cars parked outside to look at, inside displays from a reasonable number of manufacturers and a section with parts and tools. It is better since they opened the new hall.

I think there have in the past been several people coming from Netherlands, so you could maybe find out from a local kit car club if anyone from NL has been before and get a more "local" viewpoint.

Detling has got better in the last few years, Stoneleigh show is still better though, size wise with more stalls and show ground avaliable to show cars
