quite a few questions get asked time and time again - is is possible for there to be a FAQ section; something that is organised into different topics
and reguarly maintained to strip out duplcates etc:
off the top of my head:
* where to find SVA forms, here: http://www.vosa.gov.uk/vosa/forms/vehicletestforms.htm
* where to find the SVA manual
* questions about front indicator spacing, * chassis number formats/letter size,
* rear fog lamp angle etc:
* engine emissions
* Q, age related or new registration
* Ford engine numbers
good or bad idea?

A good idea that has been discussed before.
(MNR section has an FAQ that came out of that).
Problem is they are a lot of work to create and maintain, and few people have the time to commit. Sometimes the more controversial group wisdom in an
FAQ can lead to extended arguments.
If you create one I'm sure Chris will make it sticky so it stays at the top of the section.
Edit: Finally history shows that noobs don't actually read the FAQ before posting their question anyway so they don't help as much as you
might hope.
