Ned virus?
MK9R - 2/5/03 at 02:37 PM

Chris, not sure what is going on, but every time anybody posts a message, it is instantly followed by a reply from "ned", that contains a random arrangement of words!

Does anyone else seem to be seeing this??

I too have noticed this ned virus, though it doesn't appear to come after every posts.

Perhaps it has indexed itself to certain users and is trying to send itself to their address books, u2u recipients and photo archives?

Has McAffee released a fix for this bug yet?

I believe it's the "Maude" patch you need!

Cheers

Norton and McAfee have observed that this type of virus has a reduced online presence when distracted by say, for instance, ........having a car to build........

Of course, this doesn't seem to apply to the ChrisG, Steve G, or indeed perhaps the Alan B virus........

These strains seem to infect the site 24/7....

Or indeed the "Mines finished so as I can sit here all day typing crap" virus.

Engage smug mode

Cheers

Chris

I always have the comfort zone that the Bob virus is more prevalent that the SteveG virus.

Also......doing stuff like fibreglass is very stop go. For instance, gel coat ona rear wing took 45 mins last night, then I wait until tonight and do 1hr on first two layers of grp, then wait overnight, then another 1 1/4 doing final 3 layers, then a two day wait to break out of mould.

Plenty of time to this site and the car. I have however learnt you only freeze your bollox off doign car work in the winter, so im spending as much quality time as I can before the ice age sets in again in october.

Chris......does 'finished' mean your car will be at Newark?

Ah yes, the Bob virus.....almost out of control...

Yes I hear you about the GRP...very intermittent work....

Also, agree about the weather.....but in reverse...the winters here are great for car building, but the summer does get a bit hot without A/C....can't win can you?

Unless you have dual residences....
But, would you be locosting if you had that kind of cash?

Hmm...I think I'll post that as a topic...
