Nagging screen getting on my boobs
the moa 2 - 30/4/07 at 07:08 PM

I know we all keep going on about this but its really getting on my nerves this nagging screen.

I have contributed ages ago and have not received my contributer tag which i know is not unique to just me but just recently this nagging screen is stopping my view the second page of a thread it takes me back to the front screen and then i have to click it again and then it will happen again when wanting to view the third page.

Come on guys please sort this out.

Click the 'here' at the end of the message, should let you carry on reading.

Can see why it would be annoying though. Chris has said several times o email him if you are having problems. And he gave a different email to the one on his profile on here.

I've got the same problem, what's his 'special' email address?

TangoMan - 30/4/07 at 07:16 PM

and me!

I thought about sending him another fiver in the hope that he will catch it second time around.

Once again, I *think* I've caught up with the donations. If anyone has donated before now, and has not got a 'Contributor' status under their name, please email me (chris (at) locostbuilders.co.uk).

Also, have just finished debugging the automatic donation code, so anyone donating from now on will have their accounts updated a few seconds after their payment is made without me having to do anything!

In SA the 5 quid is the equivalent of 7 beers in a pub which to me seems overly expensive - what's it in GB?

flak monkey - 30/4/07 at 07:50 PM

2 pints if you are lucky

Half a CD

2% of a sportscar apparently...

Not a lot really...

Guys,

email Chris at chris'at'LocostBuilders.co.uk, substituting the 'at' for @.

In your email tell him:

When you paypal'd him

What email address you used when you paypal'd him.

Your user name on the site.

Hope this helps,
Fozzie

A thought on why previous emails might not have worked.

When you email you do include both your user name and the paypal account you used so he can link them up. Best to include the date of the transaction as well to save him some time finding it.

Just emailing and saying 'I've paid' gets you nowhere if I remember a previous grumpy comment.

Also use the 'chris@' address Fozzie posted not the webmaster@ one on the contact page.

I'd sent him all the details and he has now fixed it. I guess he's just really busy running his business.
Most of all just email him all the details and it will get fixed
