please can someone change the sample code of the photo archive pages to read with the domain, as the pics dont link with the current sample code.
i'll do it when i get round to it......that'll be just after i figure out whatever that lot above means.
my photos link alright using the location of the actual photo.
tom
The sample code under every picture on the photo archive is wrong and when used doesnt display the picture. it needs www.locostbuilders.co.uk to be added before the link but after the [img] tag.
Nowt wrong with it!
What does this say?
Open the picture in your archive.....
Right Click on the picture
Choose 'Copy Image Location'
Back to your post......click on the yellow envelope with the 'mountain piccy'....NOT the 'email envelope'
Get rid of the highlighted http in the box
Right click into the now blank box and paste.

Ehem I think this is to do with the way the site renames the uploaded photos using a unique file name that often isn’t what the original file was called, but I could be completely wrong as I didn’t understand the original question, it was encrypted I think

actually I give up trying to understand it, think he's trying to attach an uploaded pic to a thread but is making a mess of it.

Hmmmm.......
Well......that image I posted in my first reply ^^ was from JamJah's archive...........
So even less sure what the problem is....
Anyone seen my encryption head around anywhere?!?!
Fozzie
i think he's complaining that the bit of text under photos in the photoarchive doesn't link directly to the photo. you have to put
www.locostbuilders.co.uk infront of it.
he could have done a search but that function's a bit oddball too....
it's all a cunning plot to defeat the noob you know
tom
I understand, and I've fixed the problem.
