Currently sourcing some steel for various aspects of my build. For the wishbones I intend using elliptical or at least flat-oval tubing. I’m currently waiting for someone to get back with prices on the following sizes.

Elliptical 26.59mm x 16mm x 1.5mm

Flat Oval 1 1/4” x 5/8” x 16g (nominally 32mm x 16mm x 1.6mm)

Flat Oval 1 1/4” x 5/8” x 14g (nominally 32mm x 16mm x 2mm)

Tubing will be ERW, I’m probably going to use the 14g flat oval on the bottom’s and one of the other sizes on the top’s

To get a sensible price I will be ordering full lengths (6.1m) so if anyone wants some for there own build shout up and we’ll share the cost

but seriouisly, would be interested in one full length of the elliptical

too early in my project for me to say yes but would be interested to know where your getting it from.
