What's the best way of securing the the front nose cone on my Indy I know the top can be bolted with rivets but how do you secure the bottom

Hinge the bottom,much easier for access

do not have any pics of mine hinged one on here, but what i foundw as when the nose cone was sat in place ( luego Velocity on locost chassis ) the bottom front edge of the nose cone sat up above the front chassis rail and between the two uprights either side of it, from memory i welded 4 x 6mm screws vertical on the rail and had one flap of a piano type hinge sit over these and the other side of the hinge secured to the underside of the nose cone.
I had to get a hinge that had a large gap between the flaps when shut to allow space for nuts and screws.
