Hi, new to this site i was wondering what if any issues there are to building the above want to build round a v6
are they any good?
or is there a better alternative ?
How are they suited to new iva test ?
Can you buy the fibre glass bits ?

Which V6 did you have in mind?

You should be able to do it but some will present greater challenges than others, some are not very good!

24v cossy.
can,t decide wether to convert my hood 2B from bikecarb pinto or to build some sort of locost from scratch??

There is a bloke on the Haynes forum using the ford v6 in his roadster...as for body work well best have a look on the haynes forum

There is a guy with a 24V Cossie in a Viento which is the widest chassis going.
The pics may give you some ideas. Cant think of who it is though. Its a Red one, so it must go pretty fast
Might be worth a post on the Luego Group on here.

haynes is 2" wider than a locost, Mc Sorley is up to 4" (+4) wider, and the Luego Viento is 6" wider. (just for reference)

i am using alfa v6 in haynes ,bit tight on height plenty of width,had to move steering higher,should have twisted rack to suit ,fiberclass panels are available .go to haynes forum.in accrington lancs if you are ever in area call for look if you want. phil
