still looking good Martin.

why oh why do people advertise a car saying things like "needs a good clean" and "battery needs replacing". why not bloody well clean it and fit a new battery, cheap and easy tasks that will increase saleability!

Its on ebay too Formula 1 Car (ish) - Unique Opportunity - Road Legal on eBay (end time 12-Dec-10 11:54:19 GMT)

All the car needs is a plug in charger. Its a Redtop 25 battery and he leaves it for months and expects it to start. I happily left it with a proper charger and started every time

£9950 in the ad then on ebay says he wont entertain any offers under £5k

Rod Ends - 5/12/10 at 03:51 PM

It's been re-listed. It got 8 bids up to £2,351.00 last time!

Assume the dirt will hide the condition, and the bad battery will hide the starting/electrical issues.

Maybe you should "Ask the seller a question"

"Hey, you expect it to sit for months and just start? Why not use that charger I gave you when I sold you the car?"

I didn't give him the charger because he was knocking me down on price, but I gave him details what to use and buy. Hes just too lazy to buy one and blames the battery.
