Hi

Has anyone changed the pedal box on a VW polo (2001) as my daughters has failed (commen problem). Is it as bad as it seems?
I plan to weld the clutch bracket back on as the design is weak and the new version is not much better but is cheap (£30).

Any info would be appreciated.

i have replaced a few the hardest bit i removing
the shear bolts of ign barrel.
never bothered welding up just replaced with new

Bit arkward with plenty of cursing but OK really. Always just put new in though.
