Secondly, with the (I think) pointless Car versus Aircraft "races", wasn't THIS going to happen sooner or later?

Yep, already seen this! IMHO Top Gear is pointless, well and truely beyond it's sell by date!

I gave up with TG a few seasons ago, just got too childish, 3 grown blokes acting and talking as if they were 10,with stupid stunts making them look even more childish (if that's possible) thankfully I dont have a TV or watch live TV anymore, so just glad I dont pay the BBC for rubbish such as TG. I now follow 5th Gear for a motoring show as well as the odd random episodes of Car SOS, all can be found online as a download. I would only download a TG ep if the posts on forums report an interesting car featured. If TG is any better than it was 2 years ago, please do let me know.
